The MIMAROPA Regional Office headed by Regional Director Ronnie Mallari, PhD, CESO III conducted the SRC in SDO Oriental Mindoro participated in by the SDO Key Officials SDS Maria Luisa D. Servando, CESO VI, OIC-ASDS Haide Padua, CID CES Charity Capunitan, OIC – SGOD CES Joseph Jambalos, and select SDO personnel.

The SRC aims to validate progress of Strategic commitments of SDOs in the MIMAROPA Region, identify systemic bottlenecks that require RO interventions, and foster a culture of collective inquiry and shared accountability.

The activity focused on the discussion of the strategic directions of MIMAROPA Region and presentation of Project ISLAS by PPRD Gloria Cruz and the presentation of dashboard and PPAs of SDO OrMin by Planning Officer Jaeger Jeff Rafa and ASDS Haide Padua. After the presentations, FTAD Chief Ritchie Diola facilitated the focus group discussions on the bright spots, strategies, challenges of the SDO, andt the TA that the SDO will be requesting from RO.

RD Ronnie Mallari congratulated SDS Servando and SDO OrMin for their detailed and comprehensive presentations. He also emphasized the qualities of great leaders. RD Mallari also provided insights to ensure success in the implementation of PPAs.

The Regional Office will also visit identified schools for the validation of SRC conducted in SDO OrMin.
